Allan and Ayaka introduction

Allan Harrison
img1 Hello my name is Allan Harrison!
Please just call me ALLAN or MR A.

I come from a town called Rotorua in New Zealand.
New Zealand is a very small, but beautiful country where there are more sheep than humans.
I first came to Japan when I was fifteen years old to study at a high school in Kyoto.
It was an amazing cultural experience and knew that I would come back to Japan eventually.

I finally graduated from university and moved to Japan, where I worked at an elementary school in Ibaraki prefecture.
After working for two years, I decided that I wanted to help Japanese students to be able to speak English.

Japanese schools focus on teaching grammar, reading and writing but not speaking and listening.
I want to be able to give Japanese students the opportunity to speak so they can use English as a tool for their future, not just for school examinations.

I look forward to talking with everyone soon!

(PS. Try to speak in English when you see me and don’t be shy!)

Hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Ayaka Nishio.
I graduated from Ibaraki high school and Osaka Kyoiku University.
After I graduated from university, I moved to New Zealand and lived there for two years.

Do you like English? I hope you do.
But it’s ok if you are not good at English now.
To be honest, I wasn’t good at English when I was a high school student, so don’t worry!
If you study English hard, you will be able to understand.
I will help you to study English.
Luckily, you have a native English teacher here so it is good for you to talk to him in ENGLISH.

Do not hesitate to speak English.
Your English will be improved by using it not just by reading and writing.
